World of Warcraft Herbalism Tip
To start your journey in World of Warcraft as an herbalist, you need to reach at least level 5 and learn the herbalism profession. At this point, we are going to travel outside of the newbie area and into the real world in search of silverleaf. Silverleaf is extremely abundant in the early and mid-level areas of the game, particularly in the Undead and Human zones.
After farming just one stack of silverleaf, you can sell it on the Auction House for as much as 1 gold and 25 silver. Yes, that’s right’this is achievable in at most 10 minutes of work for a level 10 character! Sounds too good to be true? The lowest I’ve seen silverleaf go for is 85 silver, which is still quite profitable at that level. Anything over 20 silver is a significant amount, trust me. You don’t even need a map for this, as the ‘Find Herbs’ ability allows you to easily locate abundant silverleaf no matter where you are. Just keep in mind that some servers might have a weaker economy concerning silverleaf, but give it a few days, and watch the prices soar.
Advanced Herbalism Resources
As you progress to higher levels, another valuable resource is the ghost mushroom. For this, your Herbalism skill should be around level 245. Ghost mushrooms can be found in a cave located in the Hinterlands. This guide can be beneficial for both Alliance and Horde characters, allowing you to gather about 10-25 gold per hour. Your character should ideally be at least level 44, though the higher, the better, as the mobs in the cave are level 46-48.
Another excellent herb to seek out is the Black Lotus. This herb can sell for anywhere from 5 to 25 gold, depending on your server, allowing you to easily make 30 gold per hour. The morning hours are the best time to hunt for them, as there are usually fewer players online at that time.

If you combine herbalism with mining, you’ll ensure a steady income of gold over a short period. This dual approach allows you to maximize your resource gathering, making your time in Azeroth even more profitable.
